On August 17, 2011 Kappa Psi Kappa Fraternity Incorporated Celebrated 10yrs of Existence. The Brothers Of The Alpha Nu Chapter traveled to Ft. Lauderdale Florida to be with brothers from many different chapters and colonies from around the country. The Highlight of it all was the community service project which was at a community kitchen in the Plantation neighborhood of Ft. Lauderdale. Under the leadership of Supreme President H. Walker there was 100% attendance at a National Community Service Event. This is an historic marker in the history of Kappa Psi Kappa Fraternity, Inc. The Brothers take community service very seriously. We served lunch to many people that day. We also gave the community kitchen in which we served a great cleaning. In the mean time we made new friends with the individuals who were served as well as with the people who worked there while at the same time strengthening our bonds of brotherhood. There is nothing like helping others. Most of all I felt happy in knowing that I was able to show someone who may have felt otherwise that there are so many people out here that care about “you” and your circumstances. It is great to let people know that they are not alone.
